‘Pretty in Pink’

No need to sacrifice your dream wedding dress design or fit

With bespoke dresses and online consultations

The brand-new online bridal fashion range by Sharon Hoey Pretty in Pink is a dreamy collection of bridal dresses and separates that takes inspiration from cascading pink cherry blossoms and sun-drenched walks through pink rose-filled gardens, reminiscent of heady, bygone summer days. Although not used in the actual collection, the colour pink evokes a sense of magical romance and whimsical nostalgia – a small escape from the times we are in now – and so served as a starting point for these new designs launched Wednesday 31st March 2021.

This new collection is available exclusively online, as Sharon Hoey becomes the first wholly Irish atelier to provide an online experience for brides, ensuring brides have easy access to the creations of a top designer and can avoid compromising on fit or fashion when it comes to their wedding day despite Covid-19. As the dresses are made in Ireland, ordering a dress from the Pretty in Pink collection also means brides can avoid any extra Brexit costs or delays that may come with dresses ordered from the UK or elsewhere outside the EU. Recreating the established business, listening to brides’ needs and adjusting accordingly drives this new innovation.

Leading Irish designer Sharon Hoey has decades of experience designing and fitting wedding dresses at her luxurious boutique on Merrion Street in Dublin, so taking this exquisite experience to the online world has been a natural progression for the business, particularly in light of the challenges posed by Covid-19. Brides will still experience the incredible attention to detail and customer service the company is so renowned for, just from the comfort of their own home during this time. With styling tips on every page, a video to show the design moving and a how-to-wear guide for every piece, brides who choose Pretty in Pink can rest assured their every need will be catered for.

Brides can order a cotton sizing toile to use at home to pre-fit their dress and choose the perfect size. Customer interaction has always been considered crucial to the success of the boutique and this will remain at the heart of the Sharon Hoey experience as brides can also book a virtual consultation appointment with a stylist to answer any queries. Some pieces in the collection, which range from XXS – XL, also come as separate pieces so that brides can choose different sizes for top and bottom in order to offer flexibility and secure the desired fit.

Described as a romantic collection with a practical edge, the Pretty in Pink range consists of beautiful ballgown skirts in tulle or organza and sophisticated slim silhouettes in Italian crepe with fitted crepe bodices or deep V-shape necklines. Floral appliqués, elegant off-the-shoulder sleeves or a simple minimalist collar all feature in this collection too, while brides with a taste for lace may choose the slimline lace dress or a long-sleeved lace top to wear with any of the skirts. The introduction of the Gigi cigarette pants offers an alternative wedding look for an intimate smaller celebration or a Day 2 event. New styles will be added to the collection regularly.
