The brightest stars of the blogging and influencing world brought the glam to the red carpet at House on Leeson Street for the 5th annual Beauty Blog Awards sponsored by TanOrganic on Wednesday October 23rd. Leading the attendees was X-Factor judge Louis Walsh who was on hand to adjudicate a brand-new competition, ‘Influencers Got Talent’.

Hundreds of hopefuls made their bid to win a VIP holiday of a lifetime to Istanbul in this new category at the awards, where they were required to promote TanOrganic in a one-minute video. It was Laura Dowling aka @fabulouspharmacist who walked away with the luxurious vacation, while Jill Mathews was runner-up, leaving with a €500 hamper filled with fabulous beauty products.

Mateo Saina from popular TV show First Dates Ireland was MC on the night, while he and Lucy Kennedy teamed up to chat with TanOrganic founder Noelle O’Connor and model, former Miss World and TanOrganic ambassador Rosanna Davison. Noelle and Rosanna gave their expert insights into the importance of choosing an eco-certified and vegan friendly brand like TanOrganic.

With 20 categories in total, with over 1,000 nominees making the longlist, this has been the biggest year yet for the Beauty Blog Awards. An incredible half a million votes were cast as the public chose their favourite influencers. Winners included Rosanna Davison for Best Nutrition Influencer, while model turned health influencer Roz Purcell was awarded Best Organic Influencer.

TanOrganic, Dragons’ Den’s most successful company, have sponsored the event from its first year and were proud to be headline sponsor yet again. Founder Noelle O’Connor said:
