The former actress and singer opened Jodi’s Boutique last year in Sligo, the first of its type here in Ireland. Her philosophy is to provide the latest, unique and chic pieces at seriously affordable prices (costs starting from as low as €15). Every woman wants to look good and wear clothes that suit their body shape, as a working mum of two young boys Jodi understands the challenge and stocks a great range of glam casual clothes from cashmere two piece sets, oversized diamanté shirts and jumpers to the perfect LBD guaranteed to make any woman sparkle, feel fabulous and look great.
Jodi loves the idea of being able to give customers something special that not everyone has and by stocking a small number of each item sticks to her “boutique” mantra. She travels throughout the UK to hand pick pieces and keeps a constant eye on trends. She is a huge fan of detail and even the most ordinary hat will be special with some delightful embellishment. The same can be said of all her collection.
As Christmas looms Jodi has put together her best collection yet for the chilly season with her faux fur coats, capes, two piece sets and lots more. Jodi has a great eye and instinct for what works, which is hardly surprising considering fashion is in her blood. Coming from a trading background in the east end of London, her father owned a leather factory in the 80s in the now very trendy Shoreditch area. They designed patterns and made leather jackets, coats, trousers and various clothing items to sell on her family’s market stall in the famous Roman Road Market in Bow.
