FALLEN LIGHTS: NEW SINGLE “IT’S TOO LATE” OUT 23rd FEBRUARY
Fallen Lights are set to release their new single IT’s TOO LATE on February the 23rd. The video will be supported by their brand new music video which was shot on location in stunning Ballinafad House Co. Mayo. Together since college the band is made up of multi-instrumentalist music graduates Graham Dowling, Andrew Cody, Jay Wiley and Joey Murray. Fallen Lights are a 4-piece Indie/Pop outfit based in Mullingar. With grit, determination, musicality and a focus on success, Fallen Lights are a blend of catchy melodies layered over pulsing rhythms and anthemic guitar licks, with symphonic harmonies from all 4 members.
The bands live show has an arena feel and sound, appealing to multi-genre music fans. With their live performance been compared to ‘Two Door Cinema Club’ and ‘The Arctic Monkeys’ by former RTE 2FM radio DJ and Joe.ie presenter Paddy McKenna:
“They’re early Arctic Monkeys with a bit of Two Door too. Could’ve been baaad but it was very, very good
It is easy to see how this wiry 4 piece from Ireland are an instant hit with any new crowd`”.
Although fresh to the Irish music scene the band have found early success supporting some well-established heavy hitters such as Scouting for Girls, Ham Sandwich, Keywest, The Academic and most recently The Blizzards on their comeback show in the Olympia Theatre. The band finished the year with a run of performances in the INEC Killarney, hosting the VIP after parties for Picture This, The Coronas and Walking on Cars. This live success has been mirrored online with the band clocking over a million video plays on their social media sites in 2017 and being featured on Ladbible, Joe.ie, Her.ie.
The single was recorded with in vogue Irish producer Phillip Magee in Station recording Studios. The first single ‘It’s Too Late’ is set for release February 23rd and will be accompanied with a national radio, print and TV campaign.
As a band Fallen Lights are hugely versatile and come with a youthful ability to spontaneously burst into song, engaging and entertaining any audience. Acoustically or electrically charged the band is always ready to perform and have a natural ability to fit into any setting.
